故事圍繞著包餃子和吃餃子而展開，過程中，導演劉伽茵和爸爸、媽媽隨意地聊起了他們彼此都擔心的事，因為大家都不知道爸爸的皮藝店還能不能續約，會不會關掉…。挑戰真實時間的影像敘事，全片以極簡的拍攝手法，延續《牛皮》的獨特紀實風格，綿密的生活細節累積成這部私密且動人的影像日記。
