在北京求學的李欣為收集畢業論文的資料，而來到昔日亡友林西的故鄉南京。一起意外交通事故中，李欣陷入短暫昏迷，員警在她的記事本中找到了唯一的南京當地電話，最後出現在她病床前的兩張陌生面孔赫然就是亡友的雙親。林西父母將受傷後行動不便的李欣接回家中悉心照料，正當三人終於開始彼此漸漸熟悉，分別時刻又悄悄來到。
Lin Xi, Li Xin's closest friend in college, passed away three years ago. Li comes to Lin's hometown Nanjing to look up materials for her graduate dissertation. She is injured in a traffic accident and is taken home by Lin's parents who she has never met before. In the next couple of days, Lin's parents take good care of Li Xin and they start to know each other. But then it is time for Li to leave…
