2009 台北金馬影展 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival

1962年的香港，報館編輯周慕雲與妻子搬進一棟上海人聚居的大廈，同時搬進來的是年輕美麗的陳太太蘇麗珍和在日本公司上班的丈夫。不久周慕雲和蘇麗珍發覺他們的配偶有婚外情，兩人之間也因此產生了微妙的感情。幾年後，身處遙遠異鄉的周慕雲仍無法忘記過去與蘇麗珍之間的種種，他不知道如果當時她真的答應跟他走，兩人現在是否還會在一起？

Hong Kong, 1962. Chow Mo-Wan moves into a new room with his wife. The same day Su Li-Zhen moves in next door with her husband. Chow and Su discover that their respective spouses are having an affair. Chow, feeling hurt and wishing to understand how the affair happened, begins finding excuses to spend time with Su. Su's emotional reticence begins to haunt Chow and he finds his feelings changing. It's almost like being in love.
