改編自日本著名作家井上靖之奇幻短篇故事。二千多年前的中國，邊境飽受外族威脅。張安良是負責駐守邊疆的將軍，他因欣賞新兵陸沈康的正直和勇氣，與陸成爲好朋友。一場戰事中，張受重傷被送離戰場。而孤單作戰的陸沈康遇到一個與他同樣孤獨的卡雷女人，情欲一發不可收拾。當張安良重遇他的故友之時，竟是那麽意想不到的情景！
Lu is brave and talented solider but a bit too kind-hearted to kill. General Zhang gives Lu special training and gradually they become sworn friends. After Zhang is wounded, Lu leads the troop and takes refuge from the blizzard in a village of the mysterious Harran tribe. One night, a young Harran woman climbs out from a hole in the floor in Lu’s shell house…
