日本國寶級前衛藝術家草間彌生自幼患有神經性視聽障礙，唯有投身藝術創作才能抑制隨時想自殺的念頭，將視域所及的種種圓點轉化為充滿原創性的圖像。本片記錄了草間彌生以麥克筆創作「Love Forever, 2004-2007」系列五十幅畫作的完成經過，詳實呈現無限鏡像、斑點狀的網紋、尖端觸角等招牌母題破繭而出的珍貴時刻。
I Adore Myself is a documentary that took over a year and a half of shooting. The camera records Kusama, the artist who continues to advance through the international art world, creating works of art conflicted between the forces of life, death and love. The film promises to speak directly to the viewers’ heart.
