太空人被派遣至月球，獨力執行為期三年的能源探勘任務，除了寂寞與荒涼，與他相伴的只有一台名為GERTY的電腦。就在任務接近尾聲之際，謎團與意外接連出現，重返地球之路變得困難重重…。本片由大衛鮑伊之子執導，凱文史貝西擔任電腦配音，成功打造迷幻奇魅的氣氛，堪稱近年來最亮眼的科幻驚悚片，也向影史經典《2001太空漫遊》致敬。

Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet's power problems. But suddenly Sam begins to experience painful headaches and things become out of control…
