一個闊別北京四十年的老人，在北京重尋記憶。一個北京長大、八○年代出生的小夥子，嚷著要離開北京。哄哄鬧鬧的奧運來了又去，老人找不到印象中的北京；年輕人要在北京開拍一部不可能的紀錄片，尋訪傳奇人物后海黃帝。兩人在時尚派對、畫廊、胡同、四合、巨蛋、鳥巢相遇，拼合當下新北京衆生相。電影既是假紀錄，也是真虛構。

A mockumentry on the virtual history of a city. An old man comes back to Beijing in search of memories. A young girl who yearns to leave. A young man who decides to make an unattainable documentary in Beijing. While the bricks of the old alley get removed one by one, a new CCTV building is about to be completed. Where are the city and the memories heading for after the gigantic black hole of the new building is created?
