一群不被社會接納的人，各自以瘋狂的姿態生存：吃爆竹的女孩琳達，戳瞎雙眼、改變信仰的牙醫爸爸，想中樂透移居美國的爺爺，永遠默默包餃子的媽媽，還有一隻不會飛的瞎豬…，都在迷失困惑中試著尋找出口。印尼新銳導演一鳴驚人之作，以獨特的黑色幽默，拼貼出一幕幕荒謬而詭異的情境，大膽呈現印尼華人歷史傷痛與身分認同問題，因議題太過聳動，在當地遭到禁演。

Blind Pig Who Wants to Fly tackles a sensitive racial political issue, namely the denial of the cultural identity by the Chinese minority in Indonesia. Set within the contemporary urban Indonesia, the film follows eight characters in their journey to fit in within society in the hope to live better lives.
